- Our involvement: Social Value solutioning and expert bid writing
The Scottish Government procurement sought a provider to deliver a national, end-to-end Electronic Monitoring service across Scotland, supporting both the criminal and youth justice systems. The contract covers monitoring technology, installation and maintenance, 24/7 monitoring, operational support and engagement with a wide range of justice stakeholders. Social Value formed an important part of the quality evaluation, with specific requirements focused on Community Benefits and Fair Work.
Beacon supported a Tier 1 justice services provider with the Social Value elements of its successful bid. We worked with the client team to solution credible, contract-specific commitments across Community Benefits and Fair Work, ensuring they responded directly to the needs of monitored persons, their families and the wider justice system. We then developed and wrote the expert tender content, translating those commitments into clear, evidence-led responses aligned to the evaluation requirements. The client was subsequently awarded the contract.
